William James Morrison, 53 of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away at his residence Thursday night May 29, 2014. He was born on November 26, 1960 in Marshfield, WI to David and Jean Morrison. In 1981, he married Helena Freedlund; the marriage ended in divorce and produced one child, Meghan. In 2003, he married Jo Gennrich; the marriage ended in divorce. Will was in the US Army for seventeen years with tours to Panama, Germany and Desert Storm: he retired out as an E7 Sergeant First Class. Will is survived by his daughter Meghan (Jason) Zahrndt, father David Morrison, siblings Edward Morrison, Veronica Morrison and Tina (Javier) Vera, nieces and nephews Hannah, Luke, Rebekah, Sam and Pheobe, stepsons Kevin and Kristopher, and former wives Jo Gennrich and Helena Freedlund-Clark. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Morrison. Funeral services will be held at Buchanan / Rembs Funeral Home in Pittsville at 1 pm Tuesday June 3rd, with visitation starting at noon.
