William J. Binder, 71 of Marshfield passed away at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield on Friday, December 20, 2013. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Bakerville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 9am until time of services. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. William was born on March 10, 1942 in Bakerville to Alois and Edna (Schmitt) Binder. He received his education at St. Mary's School in Bakerville. He was united in marriage to Nancy C. Dix on June 15, 1963 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church and had celebrated 50 years of marriage. He was employed by Prince Corporation for 37 years, retiring at the age of 62. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, fishing, camping, NASCAR, and playing sheepshead. His family was blessed with his ability to fix or build anything. William is survived by his wife Nancy, children, Randy (Lori) Binder of Stratford, Michael (Barbara) Binder of Chili, Linda (Peter) Donnerbauer of Marshfield, Lori (Ronald) Schueller of Marshfield and Kelly (Wayne) Weiler of Marshfield; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings, Jeanette Andres, Donald (Barbara) Binder, Thomas (Rita) Binder, Paul (Doreen) Binder, Mark (Kathy) Binder and Mary Ellen Binder all of Marshfield, Peter (Judy) Binder of Hayward, James (Sue) Binder of Rhinelander and a sister-in-law Maeve Binder of West Union SC.
