Wayne A. Turville, 87, of Edgar, died unexpectedly Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Wells Nature View Assisted Living where he had been a resident for 4 months.

Interment and Military Honors is scheduled for 1:00pm Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Christie.

He was born August 11, 1938 in Neillsville, Wisconsin to Chester and Helena (Smith) Turville and attended schools there. On June 3, 1961 he married the former Miss Darlene Folz, they later divorced. He was united in marriage to the former Miss Shiriline Frazier in 1989. She sadly passed in 2022.

A Jack of all trades he had worked as a drywaller and maintenance man. Wayne was no stranger to working with tools and took pride in being handy. An outdoor enthusiast, he loved fishing and hunting. He also had a knack for identifying cars, much to the astonishment of those around him.

Wayne is survived by his children: Karen (Mike) Agee of Mena, AR, Gail Landwehr of Marshfield, and Keith (Alex) Turville of Jacksonville, FL; and stepchildren Peggy Sue (Jeff) Garwood and Darrell Powers. He is further survived by 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Wayne will also be missed by his sisters Ann Thompson and Christine Quicker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shiriline, and his brother Dale.
