Warren Sutton, 90 of Marshfield died on Wednesday morning May 21, 2014 at Golden Living Three Oaks in Marshfield.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marshfield with Fr. Savarimuthu Selvalaj officiating. Dorothy Gehrke along with Sacred Heart Funeral Choir will provide the music. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Visitations will be from10:00am Saturday at the church until time of services.
Warren was born on June 30, 1923 in Marshfield to Charles and Florence (Pember) Sutton. He attended Long School in the town of Richfield and was a 1942 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. After his education, he took over the family farm in the Town of Richfield.
He was united in marriage to Edna B. Brueggen on May 15, 1951 in Hewitt and together they raised their six children.
After his retirement from farming, he continued his hobbies of hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Warren is survived by his wife Edna, children Karen (Michael) Hartman of Plover, Jim (Deb) Sutton of Pittsville, Judy (Al) Lorin of Ladysmith, Joyce (Randy) Harder of Neillsville, Chuck (Lisa) Sutton of Wasilla, AK and Dean (JoAnn) Sutton of Hortonville. He is further survived by 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Wallace and Jack Sutton and a sister Lois Swedlund.
The family would like to thank the staff at Touch of Home for their kindness and care given to him in the past year.
