Obituary

Warren W. Jadack, 84, Holcombe, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at his home in the Town of Willard, Rusk County. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, October 21 at Martens / Rembs Funeral Home where the visitation will be from 4:30 pm until the service time. Burial and family committal services will be held later in Union Cemetery, Milladore. Warren was born on August 7, 1930 in Milladore, to William and Ella (Reedle) Jadack and was a graduate of Auburndale High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He had been employed at Consolidated Papers in Wisconsin Rapids until 1965 when he moved to Alaska and worked at an air force base until his retirement in 1987. He then moved to Holcombe. He is survived by a sister, Florence Brandl of Anchorage, Alaska, a sister-in-law, Betty Jadack of Sparta, 7 nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew. He was predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers, Maurice, Wallace and Emery. Warren will be dearly missed by his family, especially his nephews, Jerry and Jay and great nephew, David, who every year so looked forward to deer hunting up at Holcombe. Though Uncle Warren did not hunt much in recent years, the weekends spent there provide many wonderful memories. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends and neighbors in Holcombe who were family to him. His house was the gathering place for cribbage, hunting and fishing stories, recipe exchanges, and just a lot of "smart talk". The Jadack family would like to thank all of Warren's friends in Holcombe for all they did for him through the years. It means a great deal to us. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
