Vivian L. Jacobson, 84, Sherwood, died on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Sherwood, with Rev. Gary Markworth officiating. Burial will take place in Sherwood Cemetery and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 am until service time at St. Paul's Church. Buchanan / Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Vivian was born on September 21, 1932 in Marengo, IL, to Edward and Hazel (Held) Ritter and was a 1950 graduate of Marengo High School. She was employed at Victor Mousetrap Factory and Amerock until her marriage. She was married to Russell L. Jacobson on July 3, 1954 for 62 wonderful years to the love of her life. After her marriage she had been a farm housewife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Russell and their children, Jeff (Dixie) Jacobson, James Jacobson and Lisa Seebruck. She is also survived by grandchildren, Janalee (Matt) Darr, Joseph (Crystal) Jacobson, Mitchelle (Robin) Jacobson, Nicole (Josh) Lechner, Heather (Kendall) Kuehn, Zachary (Marissa) Seebruck and Brent Seebruck and 14 great grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Ethel Ritter. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Robert Ritter, nieces, Nancy and Roberta and a nephew, Edward.
