Virginia A. Rounsaville, 85, Stratford, died on Sunday, November 13, 2016 in the emergency room of Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, November 18, 2016 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Rozellville, with Rev. Sengole Vethanayagam officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield and on Friday from 9:30 am until service time at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Virginia was born on June 21, 1931 in Irma, Wisconsin, to Alvin and Mary (Lee) Taylor and was a 1949 graduate of Holy Cross High School in Merrill. She married John Prein on October 21, 1950. They divorced. She later married Leslie Rounsaville on October 13, 1972. He died on March 30, 2007. She is survived by her children, Denise (Wayne) Kleinschmidt of British Columbia, Canada, Lori (James) Huber of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Michael Prein of Merrill and Ricci (Diane) Prein of Dorchester and a step daughter, Cindy (Tim) Shiroda of Elkhorn. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Eileen Porter of South Carolina. She was predeceased by her parents, a son Daniel Prein, a daughter-in-law, Linda Prein, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
