Virginia M. Feirer, 87 formerly of Marshfield died on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at St. Joseph's Nursing Home in New London. Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Rembs Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Schwanz officiating. Burial will be alongside her husband Ronald at Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield. Visitations will be held from 4-7pm Monday, June 4, 2012 at Rembs Funeral Home and again on Tuesday from 10am until time of services. Virginia was born on April 9, 1925 in Marshfield to Thomas and Agnes (Michalski) O'Brien and at an early age moved to Auburndale with her parents. She graduated from Auburndale High School in 1942. After graduation, she worked for General Telephone Co. in Auburndale for several years. She also worked at F.W. Woolworth Co in Marshfield for five years until her marriage. She was united in marriage to Ronald F. Feirer on August 19, 1950 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Auburndale. Ron died on October 31, 1992. Virginia was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, enjoyed fishing, arts, crafts and gardening. She is survived by her two sons, Tom (Kathy Bryson) Feirer of Marshfield and Randy (Denise) Feirer of Manawa. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ron.
