Vicky L. Rude, age 50, of Janesville, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at her home.

A public visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where private family services will be held. Father Packi will officiate. Burial will be in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Milladore.

Vicky was born on September 4, 1972, in Wisconsin Rapids, to John and Gail (Tiffany) Almquist.

Vicky resided in Janesville and was employed at Pitney Bowes in Madison for over 20 years. She was an animal person with a big heart. She always made everyone around her laugh and there was never a dull moment when she was present. She will be missed.

Vicky is survived by her daughter, Gabrielle Rude, her soul mate, Marc Stohr, her parents, Gail and Thomas Meyer of Auburndale, sisters, Jennifer Almquist and Mary (Jeremy) Crawford, all of North Carolina, and her brother, Nicholas (Melissa) Schanock of Marshfield. She is further survived by her niece Hannah Mancl, nephews, Hunter Mancl, Elliot Schanock, Emmet Schanock, Enderson Schanock, Easton Schanock, a great nephew, Declan Mancl, a great niece, Mila Mancl and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father, John Almquist, her grandmother, Betty Tiffany, her grandfather, William Tiffany, her uncles David Tiffany, and David Zimmerman.
