Verlene M. "Tiny" Hebert, 87, Marshfield, died with family at her side on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at House of the Dove, Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 10:00 am on Saturday until service time. Rev. Samuel Martin will officiate. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Verlene was born on August 2, 1930 in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, to Frank and Stella (LaBonne) Lloyd. She was united in marriage to Ward E. Hebert on July 8, 1950 at St. John's Catholic Church. Marshfield. Tiny found great enjoyment in watching and listening to polka bands, watching the Packers, reading and going for rides to take in the scenery, especially in the fall. Above all else she loved spending time with friends and family and took great pride in being a grandmother of 8 and a great grandmother of 11. She is survived by her daughters, Sally (Jerold) Esser of Marshfield and Donna Rakovec of Apple Valley, MN, a son-in-law, James Weis of Appleton, and her siblings, Alberta Strey of Marshfield, Francis (Virene) Lloyd of Montello, Arlita Franz of Brookfield, Gert (Robert) Feirer and Patrick (Darlene) Lloyd, all of Marshfield, Daniel (Donna) Lloyd of Arizona, Betty Hornung of Wausau, Judy Dix of Appleton and Karen (Leroy) Schmoll of Lake Wales, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ward, a daughter, Patricia Weis, brothers, James and Harry Lloyd and a sister Helen Paun.
