Valerie J. Wirkuty, 62 passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at her home.

Valerie Was born on November 14, 1960, in Neillsville, to Harold and Margaret (Gall) Wirkuty. She was a graduate of Loyal High School. She married Scott Strobel on November 15th, 1996, and they later divorced.

Valerie enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, and fishing. She traveled often with her daughter on yearly road trips. Her family meant everything to her, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking treats with them and spoiled them any chance she got.

Her pride and joy were her beloved dog Dubby. He was treated better than most.

She is survived by her daughters, Jamie (Dustin) Kauffman and Jeanine Strobel, all of Auburndale and two grandchildren, Pierce and Karter Kauffman. She is also survived by her mother Margaret Wirkuty of Neillsville, a sister Cindy (Dave) Ayer of Loyal and a brother Jeffery Wirkuty of Neillsville. She is further survived by her beloved dog Dubby.

She was preceded in death by her father Harold.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
