Valeria R. Fahey, 83, Marshfield, died on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at her home with her family by her side under the care of Ministry Home Hospice. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield. Rev. Samuel Martin will officiate and St. John's Church Funeral Choir will provide music. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. John's Church on Tuesday from 9:00 am until service time. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Valeria was born on September 3, 1928 in Marshfield, the daughter of Henry and Lena (Stark) Koeberl and attended Marshfield Schools. She was united in marriage to Clifford M. Fahey on June 26, 1948 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield. He died on May 18, 1980. Val worked in housekeeping at St. Joseph's Hospital until her retirement. Val is survived by two daughters and three sons, Steve (Brenda) Fahey, Darlene Fahey, all of Marshfield, Dennis (Tammy) Fahey of Arizona, Gary (Jackie) Fahey of Chandler, AZ, and Susan (Jon) Saindon of Marshfield. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is further survived by a brother, Ray (Geri) Koeberl of Brookfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and five sisters. The family wishes to extend their thanks to Ministry Home Hospice for the wonderful care that was given to Val.
