Troy "Turtle" Louis Graf, age 48, of Spring Green, WI died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield, WI. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Troy was born December 1, 1967 in Wisconsin Rapids to Harold "Stub" Graf, Jr and Anna (Wheelock) Graf. He married Laura Bruenig on August 28, 2010 Powers Bluff, in Arpin, WI. He was employed at CFR as a welder until his disability. Troy boasted various positions over the years, some more colorful than others. He was head of security for First Artists and Anger Management, traveling with such celebrities and bands as Bret Michaels and Mudvayne. He was a seasoned traveler and hitchhiker; a master in the art of joke telling; a journeyman grandpa and storyteller; an ordained minister, and very accomplished in marketing and sales and was employed early on as a carnie. He charged no fees for being a Life Coach or a Motivational Speaker. His advice came freely and from the heart. Above all he loved being on a motorcycle, especially if free or chopped. He left an indelible impression on everyone who met him.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Bruenig, Spring Green, his mother, Anna Wheelock, Antigo, formerly of Madison, his father, Harold Graf, Arpin, WI, his children, Daniel Slade, Marshfield, Santana Graf, Wis. Rapids, Troy "TJ", Jr. Madison, Cody Bronston, Marshfield, Sara Burchfield, Spring Green, and Cody Bruenig, FL; 9 grandchildren Jeven, Aaliyah, Malaki, Zacery, Levi, Joey, Hannah, Carlie, Andrew, Ella; sisters, Heather (Nick) Binder, Arpin, Heidi Graf (Jon Brownie) Wis. Rapids, brother, Ryan Graf (Jamie Crist) of Arpin, WI and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and numerous friends across the country.
Troy was preceded in death by an infant son, his paternal grandfather, maternal grandmother, step-mother, and one niece.
Following the service we will celebrate Troy's life with food and fireworks at the Binder residence in Arpin.
