IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tracy
Zimmermann
May 2, 1970 – January 23, 2025
Celebrating the Life of Tracy Zimmermann
With heavy hearts, we share that Tracy Zimmermann, 54, of Marshfield, earned her angel wings on the morning of Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Marshfield Medical Center, with her beloved husband holding her hand by her side.
A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Tracy's life will take place at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Marshfield, with Father Daniel Thelen officiating. Music will be lovingly provided by Suzanne Golden and the St. John's Resurrection Choir. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
Family and friends are welcome to gather for visitation on Friday evening from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rembs Funeral Home, and again on Saturday morning from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church. A rosary service will be led by a dear family friend, Jacob Dick, at 4:00 PM Friday, at Rembs.
Tracy was born on May 2, 1970, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to Susan (Clark) and David Anderson. She attended local public schools and graduated from Marshfield Senior High in 1988. On April 23, 1994, she married the love of her life, Patrick Zimmermann, at St. John Catholic Church, and together they built a life full of love, laughter and adventure.
Tracy and Pat were always at each other's side! Always going to their Northwoods cabin where they loved fishing, golfing, cruising in their UTV (with their pup, Lucy at the helm) and snowmobiling - with the occasional bloody-mary pit stop, which made Tracy drive a bit faster afterwards. They loved traveling together - including their honeymoon in Hawaii, many trips to Mexico, annual fishing trips to Canada, and visiting family in Switzerland.
Tracy shared a special bond with her beautiful daughter, Savannah. They were not just mother and daughter but best friends, always talking, shopping on weekends (with Tracy managing the checkbook!), and cherishing every moment with her new grandson, Noah. Tracy never missed a day to send Savannah a sweet text message, just to remind her how much she was loved.
Her circle of friends, lovingly called "her girls," meant the world to Tracy. She treasured their friendships, the trips they took together, and the unwavering support they provided each other through all of life's ups and downs.
Tracy's warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by those who love her, including their beloved pup, Lucy. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Patrick; her beloved daughter Savannah (Brandon) Payne; and her cherished grandchildren, Noah and Rylan Payne. She is also survived by her mother, Susan Anderson; brothers Darren (April) Anderson and Brian (Jerry) Anderson; and father-in-law Paul (Marilynn) Zimmermann, all of Marshfield. Tracy is further survived by her brother-in-law Paul (Lynetta) Zimmermann, sisters-in-law Renee (Jeff) Walker, Kim (Scott) Schmidt, Kaye (Pat) Andrea, brothers-in-law Troy (Tammy) Zimmermann, Andy (Jessica) Zimmermann, Step brothers Curt (Allie) Tessmer and Mark (Kris)Tessmer, and many nieces & nephews.
She was welcomed into eternal peace by her maternal grandparents Matthew and Lorraine Clark, and her mother-in-law Mary Jane Zimmermann
