Todd A. Hanson, 38, Marshfield, died on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 pm until service time at the church. Military rites will be conducted at the church by the American Legion Post 54 following the service. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Todd was born on June 6, 1978 in Merrill, the son of William and Jane (Baumann) Hanson and was a 1996 graduate of Merrill Senior High School. He also attended North Central Technical College in Wausau. He was united in marriage to Jennifer M. Mensching on August 24, 2002 in Merrill. Todd had been employed with Snap on Tools for 10 years and most recently had been employed for Neu Tool and Supply until the present time. He is an Eagle Scout and was a scout leader for his son's troop. He was a Badger's fan, a blood donor, a Columbus Youth Football Volunteer and also volunteered at his children's school activities at Immanuel Lutheran School. He was a member of the United States National Guard for 8 years. Todd left a legacy of life by being a tissue donor. He is survived by his wife, Jenna and their children, Cole and Callie, his parents, Bill and Jane Hanson of Merrill, and his brother, Kevin (Melissa) Hanson of Spring Lake Park, MN and their children, Abby, Riley and Gavin. He is also survived by his in-laws, Debra (John) Matuszak and Mike Mensching (Karen Karow),Krista & Scot Ward all of Merrill, his maternal grandmother, Irene Baumann, his wife's grandmothers, Joann Utecht and Elaine Mensching, all of Merrill. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Carl Baumann, his paternal grandparents, Jeanne and Harold Hanson, and his wife's grandfathers, Leonard Mensching and Charles Utecht.
