Todd Allen Baumann, 46, of Manitowoc, formerly of Howards Grove, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018. He was born on January 24, 1971 to Roger and Jeanette Baumann of Fond du Lac. Todd graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School in 1989. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. Todd's successful career began with Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan, continued to Tower Automotive in Milwaukee, and then joined Kohler Co. where he enjoyed working the last 14 years. He started in the Finite Element Analysis group and worked his way up to Director of Engineering - Advanced Engine Technologies in the Engine Division. Todd was a kindhearted man with a well-known sense of humor. He was quick to help anyone in need. He had a passion for high performance automotive engines, enjoyed working to improve the performance of his cars and attending racing events at Road America at Elkhart Lake, WI. He enjoyed spending time at the local coffee shops, listening to music, admiring art both man-made or created by God. He was an accomplished photographer capturing the beauty around him. He will truly be missed by anyone that knew him. Todd is survived by his parents, Roger and Jeanette of Fond du Lac; the love of his life, his fiancé, Angela Sindelar of Manitowoc, her children Jade Guerin, Dylan Budan, Aren Forrest and Emma Forrest; his brother, John Baumann of Fond du Lac, was his lifelong compatriot. He had many longterm friends, many admiring co-workers and many relatives. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lorence and Eleanor Baumann of Marshfield, WI and maternal grandparents, Reinhold and Dorothy Aschebrock of Stratford, WI. Fond du Lac Services: The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac. A short funeral service will follow the visitation. Marshfield Services: The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Rembs Funeral Home, 300 S. Oak Avenue in Marshfield, WI.
