Tim was born April 4, 1971, in Marshfield, WI, to Glen and Barbara (Bauer) Sternweis. He grew up in the Nasonville area, where he spent his entire life surrounded by family and community. He graduated from Marshfield High School in 1989.
A hard worker from the very beginning, he grew up working on the family farm, side by side with his dad and brothers. As he grew older and under the guidance of his father, Tim began working at his family's concrete business, Sternweis and Sons, which was founded by his grandparents, Leo and Mary Sternweis. As part owner, Tim, along with his brothers, worked hard to continue the legacy of his grandfather's and father's hard work, while slowly making it their own.
Like his father, Tim was a proud farm owner of his own, raising his pigs each year on the land he proudly called "Hog Hill." Even with the demands of his own, Tim never stopped showing up for his father, giving countless hours to the family farm he loved so deeply. He shared an equally special bond with his mother, always stopping in to talk, laugh, and share the kind of easy conversations that brightened both their days. To his parents, Tim was a constant source of support, their right-hand man, and their dearest friend.
Blessed with so many, Tim loved his nieces and nephews with his whole heart, proud of each of them and grateful for the chance to watch them grow. To them, he was a source of laughter, comfort, and a special kind of closeness they'll carry with them forever.
To all who knew him, Tim can be remembered by the warmth of his smile, his quick jokes, and the familiar gestures that were so unmistakably him. His wit and humor were unlike anyone you've ever known, shaped by a personality that was entirely his own. A happy-go-lucky guy, he was the heartbeat of the family and truly one of a kind.
Timothy was a proud son, brother, uncle, godfather, and friend to all. Above all Tim was a proud father who dedicated his life to solely raising his daughter, Aryn. She was "his girl", the center of his world, and there was nothing he wouldn't have done for her.
Timothy is survived by his daughter, Aryn (Justin) Goodwin of Watertown; his parents, Glen and Barbara (Bauer) Sternweis of Marshfield; and his siblings: Christopher (Jolene) Sternweis, Sarah (Jason) Krenn, and Matthew (Monica Stange) Sternweis, all of Marshfield. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews: Michael Sternweis, Nicholas Sternweis, Katelyn Sternweis, Rachel Krenn, Sara Beth Krenn, Grace Krenn, Courtney Krenn, Leo Sternweis, and Olivia Sternweis. Timothy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Mary Sternweis, and Albert and Alice Bauer.
We would like to acknowledge and thank Stoney River Assisted Living, Heartland Hospice, Dr. Leon and his team, along with the countless family and friends who supported Timothy during his difficult journey.
In lieu of flowers, monies gifted to the family will be placed into a scholarship in Tim's honor which will award support to students pursuing secondary education in agriculture and the trades.
