Thomas H. Henseler, 71, Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at the Marshfield Medical Center.

A private family service will be held at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Tom was born November 1, 1953 in Marshfield to Harold and Eloise (Hansen) Henseler. He attended grade school at St. Mary's in Bakerville and was a 1971 graduate of Marshfield High School. He later went on to graduate school at the Institute of Banking in Madison. Tom was united in marriage to Katherine M. Tesmer on July 25, 1975 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Marshfield, and they recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.

He worked at Auburndale State Bank / Pioneer Bank in Auburndale and later at Heritage Bank (now Partners Bank) in Marshfield, where he remained until his retirement in 2020. Dedicated to his community, he served as president of both the Marshfield Rotary and Main Street Marshfield and volunteered his time with Winter Wonderland. Known as the rock to all his family and friends, he was a steady source of love, laughter, and support. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed camping and spending time at the family cabin in Phillips, and in recent years loved wintering in Texas. A devoted dog owner, he cherished his loyal companions, Lexi and Sadie.

He is survived by his wife Katherine, siblings: John Henseler and Mark (Danel) Henseler, both of Marshfield, Donald Henseler of Raleigh, NC, Marjorie Irwin, Mary (David) Konrardy, Debra (David) Nikolai, Barbara (Jeffrey) Becker, and Lori (Thomas) Bean, all of Marshfield, Janice Thimmesch (Kevin Post) of Kansasville, and Nancy Bieze of La Crosse; brothers and sisters in law: Wayne (Louise) Tesmer of Verona, Larry (Karen) Tesmer of Fifield, Don (Jean) Tesmer of Hatley, and Karen Tesmer (Greg Julson) of Eagle River, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister in law, Lucy Henseler, brothers in law, Robert Irwin and Dennis Tesmer, father and mother in law, Robert and Goldie Tesmer, niece, Jennifer Johnson, and nephew, Marshall Tesmer.
