Thomas M. Burggraf, 62, Wausau, died on Monday, December 15, 2014 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Entombment will take place in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Wausau.
Thomas was born on August 24, 1952 in Marshfield, to John and Marian (Nikolai) Burggraf and was a 1969 graduate of Stratford High School. He was employed at Morning Glory Dairy in Marshfield from 1970 until 1990. He then attended semi truck driving school and drove truck for Plainfield Trucking and Holiday Express. He then worked at a box factory in Wausau until his disability due to illness.
He married Elizabeth "Liz" Kurth on November 14, 2005. They later divorced.
Tom enjoyed model building, playing chess, golfing and reading about and collecting firearms. He was a very loving brother and uncle.
He is survived by 6 brothers and 4 sisters, John (Lois) Burggraf of Janesville, Rita (Steve) Schneeweis of Saukville, Paul (Brenda) Burggraf of Stratford, Ruth Burggraf of Spencer, Ed (Anne) Burggraf of Milwaukee, Gloria (Troy) Stewart of Estherville, IA, Mike (Jean) Burggraf of Omaha, NE, Dan Burggraf of Eau Claire, Jim (Lilly) Burggraf of Colorado Springs, CO and Gerianne Fox of Auburndale. He also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, and a brother-in-law, Rick Fox.
