Susan B. Reading, 76, joined her Lord and Savior on Good Friday, April 15, 2022 at Abbotsford Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time. Pastor Patrick Bousum will officiate. Burial will be in McMillan Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Town of McMillan, Marathon County. Susan was born on September 21, 1945 in Ridgeway, Pennsylvania to Harry and Theresa (Blessel) Lucas, Sr. She married Albert C. Weis, Jr. and they divorced. She later married David J. Reading and they divorced. Susan raised her family and then was employed at Figi's in Marshfield for many years. She volunteered for the Salvation Army. She was a devout Christian and loving mother. She is survived by her children, John (Ann) Weis, Gary (Laura) Weis, Barbara (Frank) Lanier, Justin Reading, Amy Reading, Bethany Reading (Danny), Sheri Reading and Scott Reading, a former son-in-law Todd Cordes and a former daughter-in-law Rebecca Reading. She is also survived by grandchildren, Linda Weis (Adam) John Weis, Jr., Tyler Weis, Ashlyn Weis, Ian Weis, Letitia (Travares) Johnson, Andy (Kate) Weis, Noah Reading, Natalie Reading and Emma Reading and great grandchildren, Kylie Lindner, Jonah Rappley, Peyton Knapp, Eli Johnson, Micah Johnson, Henry Weis and baby Weis expected in August. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Michael Weis and brothers, Harry, Jr., William, and Richard Lucas.
