Obituary

Susan C. Bornbach, 76, died on Monday, October 11, 2021 at home with her family by her side. A Requiem Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 14 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Oratory, 325 Grand Avenue Wausau, with Canon Aaron Huberfeld, Rector, officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Marathon, Wisconsin. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 am until service time at St. Mary's Oratory, Wausau. Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Susan was born on December 21, 1944 in Marathon, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Sylvia (Schilling) Rogan. She is a graduate of Divine Savior High School in Milwaukee. She married Ronald Bornbach April 30, 1977 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Rozellville and together they farmed until 2003. Prior to her marriage she was a typist for Glendenning Trucking in Wausau, and for Mercury Motor Express in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed gardening, embroidery, tatting, and being a grandma. Sue is survived by her husband, Ronald, and their children: Beth Bornbach and her daughter, Johanna; Joseph and Gabriel Bornbach, all of Rozellville; and daughter-in-law Niki Rogan and her children, Anne, Jon, Claire, Ben, Luke, Jacob, Gemma and Blaise. She was predeceased by her parents, her son Michael Rogan, a sister Sharon Nikolai, and brothers, Charles Rogan and John Rogan, Jr. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
