Susan M. Adelmeyer, 74, Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of Pittsville, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 pm on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville with visitation following the service until 6:00 pm. Father Nathan will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Waukesha at a later date. There will also be a memorial celebration in spring 2022.
Susan was born on April 13, 1947 in Lomira, Wisconsin, to Anthony Adelmeyer and Eleanor (Molnor) Adelmeyer.
Susan grew up in Theresa, Wisconsin, and then moved to the Milwaukee area. She studied at MATC and worked as Operating Room Technician at St. Michael's Hospital before moving to Pittsville. She worked as Dental Hygienist in Wisconsin Rapids for many years before retiring with her sister Laura.
Susie loved being out in the country, owning her quiet piece of forest land that she enjoyed with Laura and her friends and family. She was always an animal lover, and the house was full of cats and dogs. They even owned horses and goats. She loved the small town life, and spending time with friends, family and neighbors. She also loved trips to Wisconsin Dells, other places in Wisconsin, and road trips beyond.
She is survived by her dear sister Laura Adelmeyer, family friends Nancy Sparks, Margie Diser, and Katie Boggs and family, sister-in-law Kathy Adelmeyer, nephew Michael Adelmeyer, niece Kristina Adelmeyer, special Goddaughter Breanna Miljour, and a large family of Adelmeyer cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Adelmeyer and Eleanor (Molnor) Adelmeyer, and brother Anthony Joseph Adelmeyer.
