On November 5, 2025 our hearts were broken as Steve quietly passed away at his home. He was born on April 23, 1983 to Carrie Ably and Chester Fischer. He was raised on a dairy farm in Rozellville, WI where he, his brothers, Ray and Scott, neighbors Andy & Ryan, cousin's Shane, Chad, Lance and Julie were always creating mischief. Never trouble….just monkey-business. 1994 the family moved into Marshfield where Steve finished his schooling, graduating from Marshfield Senior High in 2001. He had a love of cooking and worked many years at the Melody Gardens Restaurant. Many of us had the pleasure of being on the receiving end of his culinary skills and we all believe he was a "master chef". Steve moved once more to Madison, WI continuing his career as a cook and bartender until he landed at Conney/Wesco Safety where he pursued another passion, web designing. He was a "gamer" exceling at magic the gathering and D & D (dungeons and dragons). He was also a big supporter of small content creators.

He had a smile that would light up the room, as well as a pun-filled, dad jokes, funny side. He relished the moans and eye-rolls that always followed his jokes. He was truly a kind, soft-hearted, happy, all around good person. He is survived by Carrie Ably, Chet (Sandra) Fischer, Ray (Ana) Fischer, Scott (Jackie) Fischer, nephews Nathan, Dylan, Brock and Maxwell Fischer. Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins galore. Megan, special friend of many years and "the love of his life" mischievous little Cowboy.

Keep on cooking, keep on laughing, keep smiling, we love you and will miss you forever.

A joyous celebration of Steve's life will be at Rembs Celebration Center in Marshfield, WI on Sunday November 16th from 11am until 2pm.
