Obituary

Sharon L. Dye, 68 of rural Pittsville died on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Bethel Center in Arpin. She had suffered from Parkinson's Disease for many years. Funeral services will be 11am Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Veedum Moravian Church in Pittsville with Pastor Wanda Veldman officiating. Burial will take place at the Dexterville Cemetery at a later date. Visitations will be 4-7pm Thursday at the church and again on Friday from 10am until service time. Sharon was born on June 24, 1947 to Robert and Phyllis (Saeger) Meyers in Rudolph, WI. She was a graduate of PJ Jacobs High School in Stevens Point. She was united in marriage to Donald F. Dye on September 13, 1969 in Rudolph, WI. Sharon was a life time member of the Moravian Church and enjoyed canning, vegetable gardening, camping, NASCAR fan and was a Milwaukee Brewer fan. She and her husband Don owned and operated the Lake Dexter Drive-in. Sharon is survived by her husband Don, her mother Phyllis Meyers of Junction City, two children Cindy (Greg) Mossing of Gladstone, MI and Scott (Sarah Lemieux) Dye of Wisconsin Rapids; five grandchildren Tyler, Elisha, Caleb, Mackenzie and Jordan. She is further survived by two brothers Ronald (Sandi) Meyers of Wisconsin Rapids, David Meyers of Junction City and a sister Donna Meyers. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a son Robert, brother Gary Meyers and a sister Jackie Meyers. Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
