Sharon E. Christensen, 77 of Marshfield died peacefully on Thursday morning, April 4, 2013 at her home with her family at her side under the care of Ministry Home Hospice. Funeral services will be 11am Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with Rev. David Baker officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitations will be from 9:30am Monday at Rembs Funeral Home until time of service. Sharon was born on April 23, 1935 in Boscobel, WI to Ralph and Eldeen (Duster) Payne who operated a jewelry store on east 4th Street in Marshfield. She received her teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. She taught for awhile before becoming her husband's office manager in his psychological services in Eau Claire and Marshfield. She was united in marriage to Conrad V. Christensen on July 9, 1955 in Marshfield. She enjoyed traveling, family activities and she loved all children. Sharon is survived by her husband Conrad, children Randall (Jackie) Christensen of Bay City, MI; Charles (Susan) Christensen of Eau Claire and Patti Christensen of Marshfield; four grandchildren, Kirsten, Ryan, Nick and Chad Christensen and seven great grandchildren. She is further survived by one sister Suzanne (Marlyn) Seehafer of Cincinnati, OH. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
