Scarlett Katarina Zorn, age 2, gained her wings on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Marshfield Medical Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bakerville, with Rev. Savaraimuthu Selvaraj and Deacon Ray Draeger officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 9:00 am until service time at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
Scarlett was born on July 12, 2015 in Marshfield, to Keith R. and Elizabeth B. (Lang) Zorn.
She is survived by her parents and twin siblings, Nicholas Rudolf and Indie Iva Zorn. She is also survived by her grandparents, Paul and Darla Lang and Klaus and Cindy Zorn. She is further survived by her paternal aunt and uncle, Brittany and Michael Palmer and their children, Taylor, Dameion and Alexis and maternal uncle, Matthew Lang (Tara Ziaya) and their children, Carter, Nolan and Bree.
Anyone who knew Scarlett would describe her as mischievous, determined and adorable, her dimply smile lighting up a room. She loved children, animals, and especially being outside, feeding the birds in the Spring at her grandparents. When out and about, be it the clinic, hospital, stores or the sidewalk, Scarlett drew everyone in, young and old. We spent our days in Rochester pondering her future careers. Would she be a hair stylist? A jockey? A chef? Turns out her new job is an angel, looking down on us from heaven. We love you, Scarlett. "Your wings were ready… our hearts were not."
