Sara L. Weigel, age 89, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Stoney River Senior Living, Marshfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 9, 2024, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Rozellville, where a gathering for family and friends will be from 9:00 am until service time. Rev. Sengole Vethanayagam will officiate. The service will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Sara was born on December 12, 1934, in Waukesha County, to Lennie and Bonnie (Mongee) Pease. She was a graduate of Palmyra High School.
She was united in marriage to Fay J. Warner in April of 1956. He died on March 6, 1964. She later married Peter L. Weigel on June 16, 1979, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. He died on November 7, 2016.
Sara had been employed at Distributors Warehouse/Car Quest for 28 years until her retirement in 1996. Faith, family, friends and neighbors were most important to Sara. She loved her family and anything horse related. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and sending greeting cards to family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Kari (Gary) Bohman and Kurt Warner, all of Stratford, Kim (Ronald) Daly of Marshfield, and Kelly (Steven) Strnad of Waterloo, WI. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, a daughter, Katherine Madison, a son Kevin Warner, and seven siblings.
