Sandra J. Wolfe, 66, Junction City, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Hospice House, Wausau. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Martens / Rembs Funeral Home, Junction City, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 am until service time. Rev. Dr. Timothy Rosar will officiate. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will be in Runkel Cemetery, Town of Eau Pleine, Portage County. Sandra was born on October 1, 1954 in Stevens Point, to David and Velma (Hanson) Wolfe. She was part of the first graduating class of Stevens Point Area Senior High School in 1972. She married Eugene Waltenberg and they later divorced. She is survived by her daughters, Jean (James) Higdon of Stevens Point, Laura (Ben) Scherwinski of Plover and Elizabeth Blarek of Junction City. She is also survived by her mother, Velma Wolfe of Junction City and three grandchildren, Sawyer Blarek, Shawn Waltenberg and Harold Scherwinski and she was a grandmother to many others. She is further survived by her sisters, Connie Peplinski of Stevens Point, June (Allen) Hogan, and Elizabeth (Eugene) Sprague, all of Junction City, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, David, a daughter Linda Waltenberg and a brother, LeRoy Wolfe. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Junction City.
