Sandra L "Sandy" Barkow, 74, of Marshfield was called home the late evening of Sunday, May 18th, 2025, at the House of the Dove Hospice Center.

A funeral service for Sandy will be held 11am Tuesday, June 3rd at the Rembs Funeral Home with Father Douglas Robertson officiating. The family welcomes relatives and friends to the funeral home for visitation from 9am until the time of service.

Sandy was born October 25, 1950 in Marshfield to Elmer F. and Phyllis J. (Switlick) Barkow. She attended school in Spencer, graduating in 1969. She worked over 40 years as an Accountant at the SC Johnson Wax Division in Racine. Following retirement she moved to Marshfield.

A true social butterfly, Sandy lit up every room she entered with her infectious energy and bubbly personality. She was known for her ability to connect with people from all walks of life and always had a welcoming smile and a warm hug always at the ready.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter Christine Kaiser of Cocoa, Florida; and two Granddaughters Kitana Whittenberger and Kira Remmel. She is further survived by her three sisters: Betty (Dale) Weinfurter of Marshfield, Susan Reissmann of Rhinelander, and Mary (Dan) Poehnelt of Marshfield.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents.
