Ruth A. Stute, 81, Marshfield, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the home of her sister, Sherri Domres. Ruth was born on February 22, 1941 in St. Paul, Minnesota to William C. and Audra M. (Loveland) Stute. She attended special needs classes at the Purdy school in Marshfield. Ruth was a very social person, loved being with family and friends and spending time and doing activities with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed crafts, cross stitch and reading. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Congregation who were very supportive of her. She is survived by her siblings, Sue Wolfe of Marshfield, William (Phyllis) Stute, Jr., of Federal Way, WA, Laura (Larry) Christianson of Minot, ND, Sherri (Allen) Domres of Marshfield, and Larry (Lori) Stute of Iron River, WI and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Scott Stute, a brother-in-law, Lon Wolfe, a nephew Joel Domres and niece Jayne Lee. A private family and friends service will be held. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Heartland Hospice, especially Josh, for their kind and loving care and niece Kim and great niece Mykaylah for all their wonderful care.
