Ruth E. Armbrust, 90, Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Vita Care in Stratford.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service. Rev. Katie Anderson will officiate. The service will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will take place at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Colby at a later date.

Ruth was born on September 28, 1934 in Iowa to Orris and Esther (Shank) Frisbie. She was united in marriage to Gordon Armbrust on September 14, 1965. They later divorced.

Ruth worked on the family farm and after high school she worked as a CNA. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Marshfield and loved listening to gospel music, especially the Blackwood Brothers.

She is survived by her sons, Les (Donna) Armbrust of Baraboo, Lonnie (Cora) Armbrust of Colby, daughter, Lori Armbrust of Winnebago, grandchildren, Shawn, Christopher (Melina), Erin (Dylan), Rachael (Brett), Lito, and Anthony, and 10 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister, Goody Diaz.

She was preceded in death by parents and several brothers and sisters.
