Ruth Ann Wallace passed away on June 5, 2026 at 97 years of age. Family was at her side at the time of her passing. Ruth would have been 98 years old on June 10, 2026.

Graveside services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in La Crosse, WI. on Saturday, June 13th at 1 pm. Reverend Maxine Ashley presiding.

Ruth lived her entire life in La Crosse, WI until November of 2022 when she moved to assisted living in Marshfield, WI.

Ruth was a kind, generous woman who valued family above all else. She provided endless care to many she loved including her parents, her husband, and multiple other family members.

She attended First Baptist Church in La Crosse, WI her entire life until her move to Marshfield. She was a faithful member and servant.

Ruth loved to sew, knit, play bridge and her home was her pride and joy. Her children Sue and Mary were her top priority and later also were grandchildren and great grandchildren. She shined at being both Mother and Grandma.

She is survived by her daughters, Sue Ferguson (Rod), Mary Green (Rick), grandchildren Scott Ferguson (Heather), and Sarah Lenten (John); great grandchildren, Nathan Courteau; Nolan and Ava Ferguson; Sam and Damian Lenten; one niece and three nephews.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her and she holds a special place in our hearts forever.
