Russell Edward Schneider, 50, of Auburndale, WI, lost his battle with cancer as he passed away on December 15, 2015, at the Three Oaks Living Center in Marshfield, WI. Russ was born on January 27, 1965 to Leo and Beverly (Linden) Schneider in Marshfield. He graduated from Auburndale High School in 1983. He also earned his associate degree in accounting from MSTC in Wisconsin Rapids. Russ was employed by Figi's Inc., Marshfield, as a data entry processor. Russ enjoyed spending time with family playing games, playing cards, and bowling. In his free time, Russ also enjoyed fixing puzzles and watching the Green Bay Packers. He also spent most of his time taking care of his Dad and helping him with the tax roll assessment for the Town of Auburndale. Russ is survived by his parents Beverly (Kurt, Jr.)Umnus, Edgar, and Leo Schneider, Auburndale. He is also survived by his sisters Laura(Al)Pongratz, Milladore; Lois Schneider, Neenah; Joyce Schneider, Auburndale; Jean(Travis)Peterson, Auburndale; Sara Schneider, Neenah and one brother Paul Schneider, Marshfield. In addition, he is survived by his nieces Christina Pongratz, Downey, CA; TayLyn Dupee, Neenah; Izzabella Schneider, Marshfield and one nephew Curtis Pongratz, Fort Wayne, IN. Russ is further survived by aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. Russ was predeceased by his grandparents S. R. Linden, Marjorie Rogers, and Edward and Mary Schneider. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am Friday, December 18, 2015 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hewitt with Fr. Jesse Burish officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitations will be from 5-8pm Thursday at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield and again on Friday from 9am until time of services at the church.
