Obituary

Rosemary Charlene Seavers 76, of Junction City went to her heavenly home on November 13, 2013 at Oakridge Senior Living in Stevens Point. Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, November 16, 2013 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Junction City with Rev. Dr. Timothy W. Roser officiating. Burial will be in Runkel Cemetery with her grandchildren serving as pallbearers. Visitations will be from 9:30am Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church until time of services. Martens/Rembs Funeral Home in Junction City is assisting the family with the arrangements. Rosemary was born on December 10, 1936 in the Town of Eau Pleine to Edward and Alma (Wolfe) Havitz. She attended Victory Grade School and Rudolph High School. She married the love of her life, Virgil Lloyd Seavers on September 12, 1953. They recently celebrated 60 years of marriage. Rosemary was employed for 38 years at John F. Kennedy Elementary School in Junction City as a Food Service Supervisor. Rosemary won first prize at State Convention for her homemade bread. She loved cooking and took pride in feeding the children of Junction City. She was an avid gardener, giving special attention to her red geraniums. Rosemary loved her church family, was active in the choir and Ladies' Aide. She, along with her father, shared their beautiful harmony for many funerals and weddings. Rosemary is survived by her husband Virgil, two children Pamela (Kevin) Thomson of Greenleaf, WI and Scott (Elaine) Seavers of Junction City; six grandchildren, Sarah (Mike) Kustic, Shelby Thomson, Stephanie Thomson, Jamie (Bonnie) Seavers, Stacy (Ken) Zivicki, Jr. and Holly (Ed) Jankovitz and six great grandchildren. She is further survived by four brothers, Edward Havitz of Lake Leelanau, MI, Jack (Elaine) Havitz of Wisconsin Rapids, Elliot (friend Katie) Havitz of Wisconsin Rapids and Lloyd Havitz of Amherst. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents. Thank you to West Wing of Oakridge, Stevens Point, for Rosemary's outstanding care, and to Jenny with Heartland Hospice for her warmth and compassion.
