Rosemarie M. "Rosie" Schlagenhaft, 58, Marshfield, passed away, surrounded by her family, on Friday, June 12, 2015 at House of the Dove.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday at St. John's Catholic Church, with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday at Rembs Funeral Home and from 9:30 am until service time at St. John's Catholic Church. St. John's Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary service will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rosemarie was born on September 26, 1956 in Marshfield, the daughter of Isadore and Margaret (Stini) Donnerbauer. She attended Nasonville Elementary School and was a 1974 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. She was united in marriage to Paul J. Schlagenhaft on September 24, 1977 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bakerville.
Rosie's pastimes and hobbies included foremost, spending time with her husband and best friend, Paul. She also especially enjoyed shopping, reading a good book and planting summer flowers. She made many great memories with her brothers and sisters, her children and their families and her many friends. She took great pride in her employment at V & H Trucks, Inc.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Paul, a son, Luke (Tonya) Schlagenhaft of Spencer and their children, Addison and Paige, and a daughter, Lindsey (Tim) Sabelko of Mondovi who are expecting a child. She is also survived by siblings, Eugene (Georgene) Donnerbauer of Lindsey, Delores (Gary) Krehmeyer of Spencer, Everett (Linda) Donnerbauer of Marshfield, and Peter (Linda) Donnerbauer of Marshfield.
She was predeceased by her parents, Isadore and Margaret Donnerbauer and siblings, Raymond, Lorraine and Joseph, all in infancy.
