Robert T. Reed, 71, Athens, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 in the Emergency Room at Marshfield Medical Center with family and friends at his side.

Robert was born on May 10, 1951 in Stockton, CA, to Hank and Lee (Sizemore) Reed. He was a veteran of the United States Navy Serving during Vietnam from February 23, 1971 until his honorable discharge on February 14, 1973.

He married Lana R. Harris on August 22, 1997.

Bobby had been employed as a papermaker and truck driver until his retirement. He was always good natured and happy. He loved to fish and enjoyed horses.

Bob is survived by his wife Lana and several nieces and nephews who reside on the west coast and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be determined.
