IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert F
Nowaczyk
April 18, 1951 – September 25, 2025
Robert F. Nowaczyk, 74, Marshfield, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025 at his residence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hewitt, where the visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time. Father Douglas Robertson will officiate. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Trevor Nowaczyk, Nash Nowaczyk, Tylan Cokl, Bryce Waltenberry, Glen Meidl, Marvin Konrardy, and honorary pallbearer Michael Draxler. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Robert was born April 18, 1951 in Marshfield, the son of Henry and Germaine (Fritz) Nowaczyk. He grew up in Hewitt and attended St. Joseph's Parochial School before graduating from Marshfield Senior High School in 1969. After graduation, Robert and his brother Jim proudly carried on the family legacy by assuming ownership of the family business, Stanley's Beer Depot. He later bought out his brother and successfully ran the business on his own until his retirement in 2006.
Robert will be remembered as a man who built strong and lasting connections throughout his life. Friends and neighbors often turned to him for advice, whether it was about life or finances, and he was always willing to lend a listening ear. He had a gift for making people feel heard and supported, and many considered him a trusted confidant. His sense of humor and kind presence will be deeply missed.
In his younger years, Robert played baseball, competing in high school and later in the American Legion League. He was especially proud of pitching a no-hitter during his playing days. He was also a devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Dallas Cowboys.
Robert is survived by his sister, Barbara Nowaczyk of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his brother-in-law, John Waltenberry of Wisconsin Rapids; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings James, Michael, Patricia Nowaczyk, Judy Waltenberry, and Mary Kebaso; and a sister in infancy.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at The Aster, Rembs Funeral Home, and Glen and Carolyn Meidl for their care, support, and kindness during this time.
