Robert G.'Muzzy' Schreindl, 78 of Marshfield found peace Thursday morning, April 19, 2012 at the House of The Dove with his wife Doris by his side. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 am Monday, April 23, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Church with Fr. Sam Martin officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery with military rites. Visitations will be on Sunday, April 22nd from 4-8pm at the Rembs Funeral Home and again on Monday at the church from 9:30 am until time of service. There will be a combined rosary service at 6:30pm Sunday at the funeral home by the Parish and Knights of Columbus. Bob was born on May 17, 1933 in Marshfield to George and Anna (Singer) Schreindl. He graduated from Columbus High School. Bob served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years then was honorably discharged on March 1, 1974. He returned to Marshfield and was employed at V & H Automotive for over 30 years. He was united in marriage to Doris J. Weis on November 22, 1958 at St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield. During his retirement, they enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing with his nephews and playing golf. Bob also loved to bowl, playing cards and breakfast at the Patio Restaurant with friends. He was a member of St. John's Church, Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post #54 and the Elks Lodge # 665 of Marshfield. Bob is survived by his wife Doris and sister-in-law Mabel Schreindl of Marshfield along with numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parent, he was preceded in death by two sisters Ann Schreindl and Lorraine Hasenohrl and two brothers, Mike and Clarence 'Slim' Schreindl; sister-in-law Marion (Daul) Schreindl, brother-in-law Clarence Hasenohrl; niece Darlene Plummer and nephews, Floyd, James and Richard Schreindl.
