Robert F. Mimier, 76, died on March 23, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father Ervin and his mother Olga. He is survived by his daughters Jill and Ginger, stepson Justin Smith (Edison, Myles), brother Jay (Sue Ela), brother Nick (Kathi), and sister Beth Kutka (John), and his dear friend Bev Sanchez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Justin Kutka (Amanda), Laura Kutka (Travis Schroeder), Julia (Aaron Jensen), Mike (Ivannia), Emily and Sam, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, as well as cousins and their families.

Born in Milwaukee on June 30, 1946, and raised in Muskego, he was a graduate of UW-Madison. He went on to a 40+ year career in actuarial sciences and underwriting, first for Blue Cross Blue Shield in Milwaukee, followed by Security Health Plan in Marshfield. His deep appreciation for mathematics and statistics manifested in a love of games of all kinds, including bridge, cribbage and other card games, chess, puzzles, and dice games, including games he invented and improved upon.

Rob was a loving and generous individual, treating much of his family to two group trips to Hawaii, one of his favorite places. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that you honor Rob's generosity with a donation to a charity of your choice.

A gathering for family and friends will be from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield.
