Robert Lee Lucas, 63 of Plover passed away peacefully at home on July 7, 2012 surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be 10:30am Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Martens/Rembs Funeral in Junction City with Deacon Richard Rozumalski, officiating. Burial will be in Runkel Cemetery, town of Eau Pleine, Portage County. Visitations will be from 4-8pm Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Martens /Rembs Funeral Home and again on Wednesday from 9:30am until time of services at the funeral home. Bob was born on March 11, 1949 in Novinger, MO the son of Archie and Frances (Courtney) Lucas. He was a graduate from PJ High School in 1967. Bob worked at Steel King in Stevens Point for 37 years as a welder/set up man. Bob and Terry recently celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary as they were married on July 5, 1975 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stevens Point. Bob enjoyed spending time with family and reading. He spent time each summer fishing and camping with his family. He enjoyed hunting and time at the shack. Bob is survived by his wife Teresa (Getzloff) of Plover, children, Kevin (Paula) Lucas of Lake Mills, daughter Heather Flores Aca of Plover; three grandsons, Keith and Dylan Lucas and Nicholas Flores Aca. He is further survived by three sisters, Sue (Ray) Linzmeier of Junction City, Sandy (Ron) Koziczkowski and Nancy (Lenny) Czaikowski both of Milladore; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Dawn Lucas and nephew Jeff Koziczkowski. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established at a later date.
