Robert "Boob" "Hoppy" A. LeClaire, 67, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 19, at his home with his wife and children at his side.
A time of remembrance for Robert will take place at 12 PM on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Sauter/Rembs funeral home, Stratford. A public visitation will be held from 9 AM until the time of remembrance.
Robert was born May 22, 1950 in L'Anse Michigan to Rudolph and Margaret (Londo) LeClaire. He was a graduate of L'Anse High school, and later moved to New Orleans and went on to earn his degree in Prosthetics. He was employed by the Marshfield Clinic for over 20 years until his retirement at 45.
Robert married the love of his life Susan on October 9, 1982. His passions included hunting, fishing and seeing his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Susan, and his two children Tom (Lydia Haker) of De Pere WI, and his daughter Jennifer Brown-LeClaire of Rhinelander, WI. His grandchildren McKenna and Megan Brown.
He is further survived by his brothers Pat "Snuffy" (Sharon) LeClaire of Fort Worth Texas, David "Bo" (Tammy) LeClaire of L'Anse Michigan and his sister Sharon (Don) Winters of Cantan Michigan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Mike "Otis" LeClaire.
