Robert E. Irwin, 70 of Marshfield died on Tuesday morning December 30, 2014 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital. Funeral services will be 11am Monday, January 5, 2015 at Rembs Funeral Home with Rev. Daryn Bahn officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitations will begin on Monday at 9:30am until time of services at Rembs Funeral Home. Bob was born on December 17, 1944 in White Sulphur Springs, WV to Walter and Ann Marie (Yaeger) Irwin. He attended schools in Pennsylvania and eventually moved to Marshfield in the early 1960's. He was united in marriage to Marjorie A. Henseler at Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield on June 26, 1967. He worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory and Rolohome before retiring after 43 years at Weyerhaeuser Company as a millwright maintenance mechanic. Bob enjoyed hunting, boating, traveling, dancing, camping and especially his sons and grandchildren. Bob is survived by his wife Marjorie, three sons, Scott (Carrie) Irwin, Eric Irwin and Matt (Hallie) Irwin all of Marshfield; four grandchildren, Rick Dickman, Derrick Mortenson, Kaycee Irwin and Kyle Irwin. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his step mother, Myrtle Irwin. Memorials may be designated to Hope Lodge of Marshfield. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
