Robert H. Drews, 80, Marshfield, died on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Golden Living Center, Three Oaks, Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Berns officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 5:30 pm until service time at Rembs Funeral Home. Robert was born on November 28, 1932 in Spencer, the son of Ervin and Blanche (Kautzer) Drews. He married LaVerne M. Frischmann on August 30, 1951 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Spencer. She died on January 5, 2012. Bob had farmed for over 40 years and then managed a cleaning crew at a retail store until his retirement. Bob played football in high school, was a volunteer fireman and was active in the square dance and round dance clubs. He is survived by his children, Carolyn Drews of Denver, CO, Daniel (Susan) Drews of Edgar, and Christopher (Nicole) Drews of Wheeler. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Davis, Justine, Rebecca and Elizabeth Drews. He is further survived by a sister, Patricia Ives. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, and a grandson, Ricky Drews. The family would like to thank Golden Living Center, Three Oaks for their thoughtful care of our dad.
