Robert A. "Bob" Behselich, 88, Marshfield, died on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the House of the Dove Hospice Home, Marshfield, with his wife by his side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, August 26, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield. Rev. Peter Manickam will officiate and music will be provided by Sacred Heart Church Funeral Choir. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery and a daughter-in-law and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home. A combined parish and Knights of Columbus rosary service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday at Rembs Funeral Home. Robert was born on May 11, 1923 in Pittsville, the son of Philip and Lillian (Brown) Behselich. He was united in marriage to Darlene H. Holseth on June 28, 1945 at St. Johns Catholic Church, Marshfield and they were married for sixty six years. Bob was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was an adult Mass server. He also was an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus John Eisen Council #1799. He is survived by his wife, Darlene and a daughter-in-law, Sandy Behselich, both of Marshfield. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Hal, Jr., Michael, Cody, Darlene, and Michelle Behselich and a great granddaughter, Savannah. He is further survived by a brother and four sisters, George (Geraldine) Behselich of Pittsville, Katherine Schroeder of Palmyra, Ann (Tom) Hagen of Marshfield, Jane (Don) Anderson of Marshfield, and Joanie (Ron) Ebacher of Wisconsin Rapids.
