IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rita Gail
Tichy
November 15, 1940 – October 2, 2024
Rita Gail Tichy, 83, of Marshfield, Wisconsin was called home by her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 2nd at North Haven Assisted Living, Stevens Point Wisconsin.
A visitation will be held at 9:00 am Monday, October 7th, 2024, at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, until the time of Devotional Prayer at 10:30 am, officiated by Pastor Wayne Oblender of Saint Peter's Lutheran Church. Burial and Committal Service will follow at Immanuel Cemetery, Globe, Wisconsin where she will be laid to rest.
Rita was born on November 15th, 1940, to Ira and Esther Patterson of Hixton, Wisconsin where she lived with her parents and brother Rodger. In 1961 she married Dennis Bieneck of Neillsville. After they were married, Dennis and Rita had a family farm in Granton, Wisconsin, where they raised their four children. In 1982, Dennis passed away in a plane accident.
Rita began her career at Figi's where she quickly learned many different aspects of the company and fulfilled many roles, her favorite being a Food Stylist. During this time, she met Robert Tichy of Stratford Wisconsin, and his two children. They later married in April of 1990, blending their two families together.
Rita had many hobbies including gardening, camping, baking, traveling the World, and The Annual Spring Heifer Chase on the farm, but her true passion was spoiling her 13 grandchildren.
Rita's legacy lives on through her children Timothy (Corrine) Bieneck of Whitewater, Thomas (Tammy) Bieneck of Auburndale, Lori (Jerry) Rozek of Stevens Point, and Mary Kay (Mike) Bohlman of Stevens Point, Vincent (Jean) Tichy of Stratford, and Beth Tichy of Chili.
Her legacy is further enriched by her grandchildren Cassie, Dennis, Colleen, Faith, Zach, Bennett, Allie, Tate, Saige, Cole, Meg, Gabe, Drew, and two Great-Grandchildren Asher and Robyn.
Rita is preceded in death by her parents Ira and Esther Patterson, her husband's Dennis Bieneck, and Robert Tichy, and her brother Roger Patterson.
The family would like to thank Copperleaf Senior Living and St. Croix Hospice for the love and care they provided. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association of the Wisconsin chapter and Saint Peters Lutheran Church.
