Rita R. Seubert of the town of McMillan was welcomed into heaven on Friday, July 22, 2016. She is undoubtedly spending her days under warm sunny skies with a cool breeze on her face, planting brilliant and endless flower gardens around the pearly gates.
Rita was born on November 25, 1949 in the Town of Green Valley to Vernon and Wilma (Gebelein) Wyman. She lived and went to school in Rangeline and later graduated from Marshfield Senior High in 1967. She was married to Bill Seubert in June of 1971. She worked at Weinbrenner Shoes as a shoe cutter and then later as a lead person. In 2013 Rita retired af 45 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, camping, bird watching, and visiting with family and friends.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother; a dear friend to all those who knew her; an ambitious woman, helping out in any way she could. Children loved to be around her. She was soft and caring, always putting others before herself. Compassionate and kind; never speaking ill of anyone. Always happy and upbeat, she brightened every room she walked into. As I write these words I realize what a fine example she set just by being herself. She truly was a beautiful person, and a wonderful gift to all of us who knew her.
Rita will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her husband Bill at home; her son Travis (Heather) Seubert of the Town of Richfield; her grandchildren Chase, Rachel, Caleb Seubert, & Brittany Mayer. Rita is further survived by her mother Wilma Wyman and her siblings: Karen Jantz, Allen (Lindy) Wyman, Jack Wyman, Wayne Wyman, Connie (Glen) Miller, Ardell Wyman, & Judy (John) Mullen. She will also be missed by countless other extended family and friends.
There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the McMillan Town Hall. Visitation will begin at noon, with a meal served at 3:00 pm.
