Richard A. "The King" Zinthefer, 73, Marshfield, died on Friday, April 13, 2012 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Palliative Care, Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Rembs Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Corpus Christi Cemetery, Bakerville.The family will receive relatives and friends at Rembs Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 am until service time. Richard was born on November 2, 1938 in the Town of Lincoln, Wood County, the son of Andrew and Rose Marie (Schuster) Zinthefer. He married Darlene Behnke on August 17, 1974 and they later divorced. Richard had been employed at various places in the Marshfield area. He enjoyed attending auctions, pancake breakfasts and playing cards on Sunday. He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (Deborah) Zinthefer of Granton, two granddaughters, Dominique Rudie and Meriah Rudie, and three stepchildren, Lori Barlow of Auburndale, Linda Guillaume and Randy Guillaume, both of Marshfield. He is also survived by nine brothers and sisters, Grace (Charles) Weis, Mary (Melford) Molle, Charles (Sue) Zinthefer, Clara (Douglas) Wolcott, Fran (friend - Steve) LeMahieu, Kenneth (Cheryl) Zinthefer, Eileen (Melvin) Hendrickson, Virgil (Donna) Zinthefer, and Timothy (Christine) Zinthefer.
