Regina C. Dillinger, 76, Auburndale, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Auburndale, with Rev. Murali Anand Rayappan officiating. The funeral will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will be in the parish cemetery and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday at Rembs Funeral Home and from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. St. Mary's Parish Council of Catholic Women will recite the rosary at 3:45 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Regina was born on May 15, 1945 in Marshfield, to John M. and Josephine M. (Schuster) Konrardy. She attended St. Michael's Parochial School in Hewitt and was a 1963 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. She was united in marriage to Donald A. Dillinger on August 22, 1964 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hewitt.
After her marriage Regina was employed at Weyerhaeuser Corporation in Marshfield for two years. She then began raising her family and later was employed as a secretary at Auburndale Insurance Agency. In 1970 she became a licensed insurance agent and continued her employment with Auburndale Insurance and then Nikolai Insurance until her retirement in 2010.
Regina was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Parish Council of Catholic Women and took an active role assisting with the fish fries. She enjoyed her flowers, garden, playing games with family and friends, traveling, vacations and was gifted at telling jokes.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Don, and their children, Laura (Nick) Cernohous of Eau Claire and Brian (Jackie) Dillinger of Stratford and a daughter-in-law, Tami Dillinger of Chippewa Falls. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Dylan (Andrea) and Zoey Fleischman, Matthew and Alyssa Monson and Heather, Brooklyn, Monica and Megan Dillinger.
She is further survived by brothers, Norbert (Carol) Konrardy and David (Mary) Konrardy, all of Marshfield, a sister Karen (John) Brownson of Porterfield and a sister-in-law, Virginia Konrardy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Michael and James Dillinger, sisters, Theresa Kuhn and Sharon Konrardy and a brother, Paul Konrardy.
