Kenneth P. Rausch, 92, Marshfield, died peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Marshfield Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield. Rev. Samuel Martin will officiate and Suzanne Golden will be the organist for St. John's Church Funeral Choir. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 am until service time at St. John's Catholic Church. Military rites will be conducted at St. John's Church following the service by the American Legion Post 54. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Kenneth was born on July 24, 1922 in Marshfield to Elmer and Helen (Gehrig) Rausch. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1942 until 1945 during World War II. He served under General Patton and received 5 battle stars in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, and the Rhineland in Central Europe Campaigns. In June 1947 he married Bernice M. Roethle in Marshfield. She died on February 16, 2003. Ken had been employed at Karau's Super Market until his retirement in 1989. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed drawing and woodworking. He is survived by his daughters, Diane (Ted) Bratton and Jeanette Rausch, all of Marshfield. He is also survived by grandchildren, Tammy, Ken and Patti and her sister, Stacey and great grandchildren, Cassie and Sydney. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, a daughter, Mary Ann at birth, a daughter Carole Haupt, a brother, Elroy and sisters, Marlas and Germaine.
