Ralph O. Komis, 75, Marshfield, died on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Wells Nature View Assisted Living, Marshfield. Committal services and entombment will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, May 15, 2015 at McMillan Memorial Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum, Town of McMillan, Marathon County. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Ralph was born on December 8, 1939 in Wausau, the son of Elmer and Casilda (Lee) Komis. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart Parochial School and Columbus High School, both in Marshfield. He was employed at Northern Auto Supply in Marshfield until his retirement. He was a member of the Marshfield Eagles Club. He married Jeanette Nikolai and they divorced. He later married Ardelle Weister and she died on July 11, 2006. Ralph is survived by his children, Verena Komis of Anchorage, AK, Bryan (Jody) Komis of Wasilla, AK, and Craig Komis of Anchorage, AK, and step children, Pat (Anne) Ledger of Rockville, Maryland, Monica (Greg) Pawson of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and Janice (Randy) Christiansen of Marshfield. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is further survived by a sister, Nancy Zygarlicke of Marshfield, a brother, Don (Ruth) Komis of Waupaca and Judy and Robert Anderson of Marshfield. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Ardelle, brothers, Glen and Paul Komis and a sister, Darlene Nesja. The family will designate a memorial at a later date.
